   CORA BELLOTTO   is a sustainable luxury womenswear   brand based in Milan.  

 Our emphasis is on natural and organic fibres, zero-waste   techniques and vintage fabric upcycling.

      Designer Cora Bellotto was born and raised in Milan, Italy.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in fashion and textile design  from the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, and later completed a master’s degree in fashion design from Milan’s Domus Academy, with a full scholarship from Elle Italia. 

      Following graduation, she worked as a freelance designer with various Italian ready-to-wear brands including Cangiari and Capucci. As an independent designer, she has showcased in catwalks across Italy, Spain, Russia and China. 

      In 2011, Bellotto’s graduate collection landed her a feature in Vogue Talents. That same year, she was selected to take part in Made in Mage, a design incubator for sustainable fashion, where she began working with upcycling and reconstruction techniques.

      After completing her master’s studies at Domus Academy in 2012, Bellotto showcased at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Moscow.

      In 2016, she took part in Hong Kong Fashion Week, where she won second prize at the Redress Design Award and received mentorship from Orsola de Castro, founder and creative director of sustainable fashion platform, Fashion Revolution UK. That same year, she collaborated with Gema Gomez from Fashion Revolution Spain, exhibiting her work at the Costume Museum in Madrid.

      In 2018, the designer was invited by Sara Maino to showcase at Fashion Hub during Milan Fashion Week, organized by Camera Nazionale della Moda. In February 2019 Yoox and Vogue Talents invited her to showcase her F/W collection at The Next Green Talents, Palazzo Morando, Milan.
